  1. my name is Richard Gruwell, I’m a direct descendant of Peter Gruwell, who joined Jonathan Caldwell’s company on 17 January 1776, and was one of the first to die on Long Island in October’s battle at Brunswick.
I will not be able to see the Regiment live now as I live in Michigan where I’m the conductor of an old steam train, running out of a 1860’s village. but I will keep track of your exploits both here and on facebook.
I hope to hear more of the Regiment in the future.
